About Us
A couple of years ago, I began helping a friend with disability claims, which later inspired the creation of the Service Connecting Initiative. Although I am not a Veteran, I work closely and socialize with Veterans and Active-Duty personnel on a daily basis. I researched VA policies and procedures and assisted with the claim process. It was very time-consuming and often frustrating due to the complexities involved and the way facts must be properly presented on behalf of the Veteran.
We are aware of the difficulties in navigating the VA's disability benefits system.

Happy Clients!
I worked closely with Richard on my personal claim. Without his assistance I might still be awaiting a decision on a claim I initiated in 2021. As my claim was partially resolved I was asked to consider coming on board and helping with Outreach for SCI

I appreciate all that SCI did for me. Without their help I would still be at 30% service connected instead of 80% September 2024. They explained to me what was not done correctly when I first filed and they assisted me with refiling. I am certainly going to spread the word.
